Connecting with Community, Partnerships, and Sponsorships

Building a Healthier North Idaho Together

Strong communities are built when people, organizations, and resources work together.

At North Idaho Alliance of Care (NIAC), we believe lasting health and well-being depend on more than healthcare alone. People thrive when they have access to trusted information, supportive relationships, practical resources, and opportunities to stay engaged in their communities.

As a Healthcare Access and Engagement Hub serving North Idaho, NIAC helps individuals and families connect to the services, education, and support they need to live healthy, independent, and productive lives.

Who Should Be Referred?

Consider referring adults who may benefit from:

  • Community Health Worker support

  • Healthcare navigation

  • Health education and health literacy

  • HIV self-testing and prevention services

  • Tobacco and nicotine cessation support

  • Recovery and wellness resources

  • Digital health access assistance

  • Connections to healthcare providers

  • Connections to community resources

  • Support overcoming barriers to care

If you are unsure whether someone is a fit, refer them. We will help identify the most appropriate resources and next steps.

One Door. Multiple Pathways.

People rarely experience challenges one at a time.

Someone seeking HIV testing may also need healthcare navigation.

Someone working toward recovery may benefit from wellness resources and connections to local support services.

Someone interested in improving their health may need education, digital access support, or help finding available resources in their community.

Rather than treating these as separate issues, NIAC provides a single point of entry where individuals can access multiple pathways to support.

Through one trusted organization, North Idaho residents can connect to education, navigation, testing services, wellness resources, recovery support, and community partnerships designed to help them move forward.

A Whole-Person Approach to Healthy & Independent Living

Our work is guided by a simple belief:

Healthy people build strong families. Strong families build strong communities.

Health is influenced by many factors, including:

  • Access to healthcare

  • Health knowledge and literacy

  • Healthy lifestyle habits

  • Recovery and wellness support

  • Social connections

  • Stable housing

  • Transportation

  • Access to technology

  • Community engagement

By helping people strengthen these areas of life, we support healthier, more independent living and improved quality of life.

Expanding Access Across North Idaho

North Idaho's rural communities face unique challenges, including travel distances, provider shortages, transportation barriers, and limited access to services.

NIAC works with healthcare providers, behavioral health organizations, schools, employers, faith communities, public health agencies, and community-based organizations to bridge these gaps.

Through Community Health Worker services, healthcare navigation, mobile outreach, secure technology, and low-bandwidth communication tools, we help extend the reach of services into communities where access may otherwise be limited.

Technology is not a replacement for personal relationships.

It is a tool that helps trusted community partners reach more people, provide more support, and create more opportunities for individuals and families to access the resources they need.

Share NIAC With Your Network

A healthier North Idaho requires community participation.

You can help by sharing NIAC with:

  • Patients and clients

  • Healthcare providers

  • Behavioral health professionals

  • Recovery organizations

  • Schools and colleges

  • Employers

  • Faith communities

  • Community groups

  • Friends, family, and neighbors

A referral, website link, social media post, newsletter mention, or personal recommendation may help someone discover resources they did not know were available.

Every connection matters.

Every referral creates an opportunity.

Every partnership expands access.

Better Together

NIAC does not work in isolation.

Our success depends on strong partnerships, shared knowledge, coordinated referrals, and a collective commitment to improving the health and well-being of North Idaho residents.

When organizations work together, resources go further, barriers become easier to overcome, and more people can access the support they need to live healthy, independent, and connected lives.
