While scrolling through our Twitter feed looking for inspiration this morning, I came across this video. We've all seen these types of videos 100 times about the hesitant but ultimately proud family. And of course, I cried. But then I thought about those of use who may not have that proud family, who are estranged or at odd with our families. And I realized something: family isn't always who we were raised with. Sometimes family means those we've found along the way; sometimes family is made up of those who have found us along the way. So whatever your family looks like, be #Proud. And never be afraid to say "I love you".
